This cancellation policy applies to all hot air balloon flights and adventure services booked with Marrakech Balloon Flights.
Weather-Related Cancellations
Safety is our highest priority. Flights may be canceled if weather conditions are not suitable for safe operation.
Cancellation Before Arrival (Weather Forecast)
If weather conditions are confirmed unsafe one day in advance:
- The flight may be postponed to another available date
- If rescheduling is not possible, a 100% refund will be issued
Cancellation On-Site (Unexpected Conditions)
If weather conditions appear unsafe upon arrival:
- Guests will be offered a traditional Berber (beldi) breakfast
- A 100% refund of the flight cost will be issued
Royal Visit Restrictions
In the event of an official Royal visit:
- Balloon flights over Marrakech may be temporarily suspended
- Flight resumption will be confirmed in writing by the Prefecture
- Operations resume only after official authorization
Customer-Initiated Cancellations
Cancellation Less Than 24 Hours Before Flight
- 100% of the booking amount is due
- No refund will be provided
No-Show Policy
- Failure to arrive on time after confirmation
- Absence on the day of the flight

Operational Reliability Statement
Marrakech Balloon Flights has been operating hot air balloon experiences in Marrakech for decades, with an average of over 350 flight days per year. Weather-related cancellations are rare but may occur for safety reasons.
Force Majeure
Marrakech Balloon Flights is not liable for cancellations or delays caused by force majeure events, including weather conditions, government restrictions, or security decisions.
